General Information for FLOATS Contact Christy Carpenter at 215-2009 or clcarpenter@cox.net Click below for entry form and rules sheet 2017 ENTRY FORM PARADE RULES PARADE ROUTE Total Parade route distance from Line up at First and English and back is 1.8 miles Total walking distance from First and Main to Second and English is approximately 1.0 miles. Please plan accordingly due to anticipated temperatures in the upper 90s. Plenty of water for walkers is HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Parade Line-up Times for Floats, Clubs & Organizations, and Kid Entries PARADE LINE-UP 10:00 a.m. Floats need to be in position and ready by 10:15 a.m. for judging
Horse Divisions & Saddle Clubs LINE-UP at 9:30 a.m. Be in position by 9:45 a.m. for judging
*Please note: ONLY FLOATS displayed on large trucks or 4-wheel trailers will be judged as such.* The OLD SETTLERS SWEEPSTAKES AWARD of $150 and a traveling trophy (to be displayed in the museum) will be awarded for the best float in the parade. The remaining floats and other entries will be judged in the following SIX categories: Clubs & Organizations Churches Commercial Youth Mulvane School Sports/Activities/Clubs Unclassified
FIRST prize of $60	SECOND prize of $40	THIRD prize of $30
will be awarded in each of the above categories
The Mulvane Chamber of Commerce sponsors the following prizes awarded to the COMMERCIAL floats:
